Beyond Silence! The Voice of Chidhood Sexual Abuse Fundraising Events

These events are in support of Beyond Silence! The Voice of Child Sexual Abuse. A collection of twelve stories by twelve Island women capturing their experiences of child sexual abuse, and their collective wisdom on how to prevent it.

These twelve stories will be compiled into a book, translated to a stage production, DVD and workshop series all to empower other adult survivors to educate community, and to prevent child sexual abuse.

Music supplied by DJ Deuce kept the beat going all night. Plus there were prizes and a 50/50 draw.

Special thanks to the Fort Agustus Recreation Centre, volunteers and those who supported this event. Through your contributions we raised $500 at this event.

The Vagina Monologues
March 7, 2008 - March 8, 2008

The theatre was sold out both nights and it was an empowering, funny and witty experience for the audience!   It was the sixth production hosted by the UPEI Vagina Monologues Advisory Committee, and it was certainly a night to remember!

Thank you so much to Trish Daley and all of the cast and crew for their hard work and choosing SAGE to donate the proceeds to.
